A men’s boutique recently opened in a space with a liquor store marquee. I thought it was a new trendy store that just so happened to sell clothes perfect for the yacht club. It turns out, however, that this is actually the first men’s only J.Crew store. The store is adorable, and, except for the labels, you would never know its a J.Crew. This store is particularly appealing because it actually sells some other designers as well, this, combined with the old fashion appeal will most likely make this store a welcome member of the Tribeca neighborhood. Although I don’t know for sure, but I expect many of my readers are not men, but I would suggest this to your significant other, if they are the J.Crew type. Anyhow, here are some before and after pictures of the spot. With our offices within a block of the location, this really took us by surprise.
