We wanted to share some of these vintage bridal dresses, along with two of our favorite de la Renta dresses for this season.  To us, they are all very similar to the dress Jackie Kennedy wore on her wedding day–very classic 1950s: a modest bodice, but  not without an abundance of fabric everywhere else.  We couldn’t resist including the McCall’s ad, as it is one of our favorite dresses ever– it is a pattern for a Givenchy dress.  Classic.  Simple.  Gorgeous.
