We posted about Joy Thigpen’ s brilliant new project yesterday.  However, today we wanted to share some of her ridiculously fab.u.lous work!  Here is a recent photo shoot that she did for a bride & groom ONE YEAR AFTER their wedding.  The bride wanted a fun, let-loose photo shoot, in comparison to the formal shots she had from her actual wedding day and gifted this to her husband on their anniversary. Love. It.


Here’s a little about Joy in her own words… I grew up in the Atlanta area, got a degree in studio arts, got married, traveled some, had some babies, a girl and a boy, River and Oswin, who are 3 and 1, photographed some weddings over one big belly after another (living in Vancouver B.C. part of that time) and I’m just now turning more attention to my career and finding outlets for my creative juices.  While I’ve packed a lot into the last few years, its exciting to feel like I’m at the beginning of so much…both in my little family and my career.
